Title: Pleurisy

Had 2 ecg's tuesday , one in the morning and given the all clear by nursie then at 6pm was sent to A&E when the doctor rang and said i need another ecg  :( pains in chest and arm but given all clear apart from waiting for pleurisy results  :'( I heard they stick a big needle in your chest and drain fluids  :o

Don't worry. They stick a big needle in your spine as well, so you hardly feel the one in your chest.  :)

Had it. Course antibiotics, bed-rest, hurts like hell to cough,
 It's an infection of the fluid, in the sac around the lungs.

Last time I was wired up to an ECG, in an ambulance on the way to hospital, it was hours before they'd let me take the sticky things off. Oh boy, when I did, that was more painful than the incident that caused me to be in said ambulance ;D

I feel your pain when those fekcers have to come off

Yeah they do stick well , especially after nursie has shaved you  :D

Yeah they do stick well , especially after nursie has shaved you  :D

Unfortunately, if you get them stuck on in the ambulance they don't tend to shave you... Then it hurts even more!!
