Title: Estate work
Post by: psychnurse on 16 July 2008, 17:17:38
had the estate, or, as the wife calls it the state for a few weeks now.
Have managed to do over the past week: Cambelt change inc waterpump, coolant system flush and change, cam cover gasket, new plugs, oil and filter change and changed to CDX alloys. Cleaned breathers, and throttle body.

i am well chuffed with myself! Even enjoyed it and did not get stressed! (much!) Just got the rear right wheel bearing and then the cosmetics take precedence.

Thanks to all who have helped me be able to do this for the first time  :y

Well done Mr Nurse  :y :y

You should have a go bob.......I hadnt done any car mechanics for years until I got the omega......watching the mechanics in the garage i sometimes take it to....I often think blimey thats not difficult......and with help from here  :y its not too difficult to do the easy jobs  :)

I think the longest job ive done...was to change the blower fan when it packed up......3 hours to get it out....and another 3 hours to put the 'new' one in  :-[ But i got there in the end.
