Well its final, im leaving for new zealand on august 15th!!!! :)
Just gave in my months notice, visas came through yesterday and now am ready to go.
My new boss is waiting for me out there so im all ready.
I tell you what, it was bloody expensive but hopefully well worth it :y
I will still be on OOF but as a commodore (ozzy omega) so maybe you guys might be able to help me with that if i have any problems :y
Anyway, wish me luck :y

Mate!! The very best of luck!! I mean that. When I am next over we will have to meet. I go to south island about once a year to see the family.
You will love it!! Long term I may even be going myself, deffo south island. Lots of job opportunities without the hassle of the UK.
If you are near Christchurch go and see my uncle.... he is MD of the brewery!! Very convenient!!

Dunnno what you do for a living but go for it!!!! Sure the net will allow you to join us on here. Often been tempted by the truck driving in Canada jobs but been told it's not all it's cracked up to be & getting set in my ways now but good on ya mate.

Hello, thanks for all the replies, im living in the south island in dunedin.
My job is a scaffolder and my son is also coming over to scaffold with me (he's had 2 years experience).
Great place, i keep getting told that it looks very much like britain.

What do you think and by the way debs, the dogs are getting on great, they go on walks 4 times everyday in a set of woods, they are massive, i do miss them :'( :y
