Title: A White Goods Thread!
Post by: Sir Tigger KC on 31 December 2015, 13:27:48: I've got a Hotpoint Iced Diamond fridge freezer that's probably about 10 - 15 years old and it's started freezing everything in the fridge! :(

Hoping that the thermostat has stuck I've twiddled the temp knob, but if that dosn't change anything I'm guessing that the thermostat has gone and I need to get and fit a new one. ??? Frozen butter and slushy beer is no good!! ;D

No doubt new ones have to use spring water as a refrigerant nowadays, so efficiency has probably gone the other way!

No built in obselecence in those days. ;)
