My daughter got straight 5s in her stats - she is year 6 and nearly 11 years old. She was told she 98 out of 100 in maths and was top of the year :y

thats brilliant news m8, my kids havent had there results yet. my youngest thinks hes done well, havent a clue about the elder. hes doing me head in at the moment. hes turned into kevin the teenager but worse ::)

Thats called "growing up" .. its a phase that seems to last until they reach 20+ and leave home :(

Well done, that's a good result...
My daughter is 6 and already she is having Sats drummed into her, at this age i think it is a little too much, the teachers are already starting to explain how this will affect them and she has nearly a year before she takes them.
i have a meeting with the headmaster about this, the school seem to be more interested in their statistics than the well being of the children >:( >:( >:(
Scotland and wales have scrapped Sats, why can't england

Many congratulations to your daughter - it takes some determination to survive the English public examination system. :)
I'm pleased with my son - the University just sent him a Certificate of Distinction for his results in his First Year Pharmacology course. :) :) :)
He's been glued to the television watching reruns of The Simpsons and Scrubs since he got back here for the long vacation. :(
