Post by: powerslinky on 10 January 2016, 09:57:12
Seems the "new look" & "more secure"  Gumtree site is having some major teething problems . Does not seem to want to show ads on the day they are posted . Put one on yesterday & did not show until this morning  . . . & of course it is now well down the list  >:(    but can't grumble  . .as it is free :y     Anybody else  noticed this or am i doing something wrong  ?  :-\ :-\

Isn,t it owned by flea bay? Must say when I venture on it from time to time I find it scrolls down very slowly, or it could be my old Dell laptop.  :-\

Just been investigating . . . seems it's had a re vamp  & since it's "new look"  launch all has not been well.

Seems it's a bit hit & miss  . .  on some searches my ad is there & on some it is not  . . . .

But  guess it will all get sorted sooner rather than later ::)  & as said it is free :y

Yep, a mate of mine who had he's seller account nuked on eBay started using Gumtree, now finds all he's Gumtree adds are removed, dispite using a different account details.

They caught up with him by using stored IP address on the same computer / network address.
