Title: A day of woe with the LPG fitting
Post by: Dazzler on 17 July 2008, 17:28:37
What a day..........run the fuel pipe from front to back only to find that the wrong end fiitings were present. I had 6mm and should have been 8mm, so now waiting for 6mm to 8 mm converters from Jeremy >:(

So i got on and drilled the manifold only to find that my new tap set won't even tap ally >:(

So need to return that and buy a better one.............oh the joy ::)

As my old man used to say when things went t**s up ...

"just put it down to experience ...  life is a learning curve....  have a beer and stop fretting"

I only ever agreed with the last part ..... :y :y

Flippen must be...... >:(

Made by Laser, which i know is not the best but is by no means the worst.
It should have at least been able to tap the manifold ::)

Same here, I have made the mistake of purchasing a few odd tools from them in the past - every single one broke, without exception  >:(
