Anybody got a pair of rubbing strips for a FL Estate that run from the rear wheel arch and wrap around by the lights and the two short pieces on the tailgate in Star Silver (Z147)

Cant help with the bits, but just to say, in any colour if prep'ed well they come up quiet well with Z147 rattle cans followed by a liqueur, mainly because the upper and lower angle on the strips throws the light off any miss match to the rest of the main panel. ;)

One assumes you mean lacquer, and not booze ;D
Yes, you are right, if you prep properly, any colour can be changed, and as you say, light plays many tricks. :y

When you get your mouldings, I suggest you replace the mounting clips as they are bound to be broken. I didn't after doing some body repairs on mine, and the moulding came off on the motorway.
The each wheelarch moulding uses 5 of these:

They are part number 09-148-386 and cost £2 each. Mine should arrive Monday, and then I'll be able to fit the replacement moulding. That photo is of the only one out of a sample of 15 that is undamaged.

Yea, lacquer, although windows spell checker seems to think otherwise. ::)
Although after quiet a few liquors, you can pretty much not bother with the prep, spray it any colour and it will still look cool. ;D
