went kayaking on tuesday and the most of the day was cloudy so didnt bother with sun cream until later, boy did i suffer the next day !
i looked like a blooming panda !
mind you i did have a good day up and down the river ouse. ill download a video clip a little later......

Been caught like that myself --- went to a siege re-enactment at Powderham Castle. Forecast was light rain all day --- sun decided to come out during the morning tho --- the old solar panel took a beating -- could have fried an egg on the noggin! Mind you, I felt distinctly wobbly the next day !

been done like that myself ,went to silverstone years ago to watch f3000 and caught it on the back of my neck ..i was glowing the next day....lol
