Basically what is a MFL Black leather set of MV6 seats, the ones with the extendible font cushions worth... with dreaded split on the driver's bolster. :(
Real shame, they're otherwise nice enough (for the age) but that wear is exactly what puts most people off. Probably going to be sold with the car, but could be worth it if you know an automotive upholsterer (and you can chuck me your old seats in part-ex)
Worth a decent amount 'mint' but on the other hand these leather repair kits are meant to be pretty good, and maybe around £50 would get you an 'as new' seat again. :-\

Working on the basis that the average omega is worth about £120..... :-\... :-\...£12.50.
-
Sounds about right :y That's for a mint interior, of course, so halve it, maybe £6.25?

A couple of years back,I bought a complete cream colour interior with all the electrickery bits working, save for a burn mark on one part of the seat, possibly where a heated element had failed.Fifty quid brought it home and I then whipped it round to the local automotive upholsterers for the seat to be repaired.....that small repair cost me £150 :o but then that's what happens if you live down sarf. ::))But having said that, if the one you have were to be a facelift leather MV6 interior you would probably be minus your arm as they are getting pretty rare now and I'm pretty sure there is going to be someone out there waiting for one to become available, even for the MFL item :y

Keep them and store them , thats my moto anyway .. keep everything ::)

Thanks for replies :)
Out of interest what's the difference between FL and MFL leather seats? I'm struggling to see any difference. I know the standard FL seats got active head restraints, but wasn't sure if the sports did, too? Later FLs got dark grey over jet black, I know that, but aside from that I'm not seeing any difference. These have side airbags, too.
Given the extensive chopping and changing of interiors and bits it's hard to get conclusive evidence just on google images. I saw a Lotus Carlton wearing Omega CDX FL alloys on the internet earlier today! :D

Active head restraints (partly responsible for the FL's increased NCAP rating) and colour.
-
Cheers, active head restraints it is, then . :)
Any visual clues to look for? Push on the seat back hard, see if the head restraint moves up? :-\
-
Tubes that the headrests slide into should have "active" stamped on them

Only later facelift have the marking on them...

Confess my old Turbo Weasel FL (W plate) never showed any visual clues.
Reason being this car (the Peanut) is a bit of a mongrel, lots of different Omegas strung together to make one complete one, so it's perfectly possible these seats are out of a FL.. Will get someone to drive into the back of it at speed and see if they pop... :y
