Title: Which ECU/Control box...?
Post by: minifreek on 28 January 2016, 19:06:14
Im in the process of trying to sort out 2 keys for my Omega (1 for the missus and 1 for me), I need to know which code the CL control box should have stamped on it...?

I bought a CL control box with 2 keys off Ebay (coded GA) this week but the CL controller is off a MFL '98 MV6 with the 2 buttons and not the 3 I need for my FL, for the remote boot release...

Any help is much appreciated :)

Send it back.

Cl ecu lives behind the drivers kick panel ;)

I do intend to send it back but the seller has asked for the code off my CL contoller... I can only presume for them to send me out the item I expected to arrive... I am aware of where it lives, but thanks anyway Al :y

I dunno if its a trader on here but on Ebay the sellers name is Omegas52....

That's Nigel...

Wrt the location... easiest way to identify the correct Ident is to remove your existing one...

The Ident code changed a few times during manufacture.  On facelift saloons, this change can affect how you open boot.

Best to check, and get the 2 digit Ident code off the actual unit :y
