Title: whats this mean

initially on switching on ignition ,brake light check. then I get " brake pad " & under that SAFE. does that mean pads low but still ok.  :-\

Pads are low, and radio needs its code entering :y

Do you also get a 'check' light that doesn't go out too...?

It is telling you that the brake pads are low and need replaceing, but thought SAFE usually meant that the radio is in SAFE mode...?

As others have said, SAFE bears no relation to the safety of your brakes!

Worth visually checking pads.  Oh, and enter the radio code ;D

am i a numty, the battery had been disconnected whilst I fitted lights. :-[ :y
