If your bolting it to a 2.5, a R25 will be adequate and much more around ;)

If he's bought a 2.5 auto instead of that 3.2 with all the conversion parts for three humdred notes that was suggested, then nothing we say really matters :-X

You could have driven it home without any faffing getting seats and it could have been manualised by Monday ::)

The one he was faffing getting seats is already a manual with LSD but preferred the 2.5 auto :-X

Driving both regularly, they each have flaws and merits... They way the auto pulls from 65+ never fails to impress, but equally the manual is a much better cross country A/B Road car... 8)

TBH Jack the amount of faffing around your doing on this, you could have bought my Ex Police 3.0 Manual LSD saloon. I was only looking for around the 650 mark. In fact for 700 I would have put another years ticket on it and you could have driven home and it would have been ready and sitting outside your house by now.

Yeah but i dont have 700to spend on a car because irs another grand to insure it 240 to tax it im trying to do it as cheap as possible whilst keeping my daily car not easy

So £250 to buy a 2.5. Then £200 for a conversion kit, then seats £50, not £50, service £150.
Zirks offering not that expensive ::)

Then we cannot help, not that you have heeded ANY of the advice offered here or elsewhere :-X

650 actually, the additional 50 was to put another years MOT ticket on it, which you have already budgeted for, not sure where 750 comes from. You probably wont find another ex plod for that sort of money if I'm honest, it wasn't just another car.
Anyway its done now, so you have to do and stick with your gut feelings, although some may disagree. Good luck with it all.
