Post by: Andy B on 04 February 2016, 18:35:58
Whilst waiting for a lift home I had a wander around Merc's show room. There was a Go-faster Bi-turbo V8 G Wagon/G Class in there £140 000  :o :o :o :o :o :o  .... and they're 'Horrible' to drive says Plato  ;D ;D

We had an old diseasel one at work once. Like driving a sub-post office. :o

Take it off road and it just dug itself in up to its' axles at the first opportunity such was its' prodigious weight.

Needed the Exxon Valdez on standby if you were going more than a few miles. God knows what a V8 petrol one's like. :o

Can't see the attraction, myself, but then I'm not a footballers' wife. ::)

These things really are 'oddballs'

Who would pay £140,000 for such a thing?

I do like the way these AMG G-Wagons look. Price tag is shocking though.

I've seen one on the road. It's not really any different from a tuned Range Rover in that it's all about the look, not use.

A properly specced G-Wagen is a seriously effective off-road vehicle that's between a Defender and a normal Range Rover.

The older ones fetch stupid money . Seen quite a few yummy mummies
