Title: brake pads
Post by: raywilb on 09 February 2016, 16:46:33
with having a brake pad on the mid I decided to put some I had on. I have ordered some front & rear & sensors. however put some on so I could put new on when weather picks up. now this is what baffles me, whilst driving around & braking all seemed ok. about 2 days later a terrible growl from the n/side brake. it got so I hardly dared touch them. investigated today and I do not know how I have managed to put a pad the wrong way round. :-[ :-[ only excuse it was late in the day so darkish & it started to piss down. gladto say, no harm done ;D

If you've put copper slip on the other face, you 'll be needing new pads... Again...

In my case the handling was fine. It was the strange noise after about 80 high speed miles.

Never trust a Readingite ;D
