hi just a quick one for those in the know, what boost pressure should my 2.2 dti be running on w.o.t when under load , as in a morning when cold it feels like it pulls a lot stronger than when its warm so im thinking the actautor is dying. have aboost gauge but cant find out what pressure it should be holding under load ...thanks in advance ::) ::) ::) ::)

Approx 1 bar.

Here is my 'ghetto gauge' ;) Used to test boost on a Saab 9-3.

1 Bar? A Griffon took 82" with water meth on take-off. ::)

.. and was a tad more spritely than a 2.2dti. ;)
Intake temperature might be a clue as to its' better performance when cold. Check it's not drawing warm air in from the engine bay via a split duct. Another possibility is that the intercooler is not effective - clogged / fan failed (if fitted).

Have a decent intercooler here if required ;)

Remember to keep it front side up, unlike the messy bastard who moved it last ::)

I think 1 bar is a little low for the dti as when checked it's peaking at 18psi and settling at about 13psi at wot ...so I'm loosing about 5psi ..actuator weak ?
