my 2.5td has a leaking diesel pump..i don't have the expertise to fix it and i've had some ridiculous quotes,so with a heavy heart it's time to scrap it...question is does anybody want anything off it before she goes

Possibly some seasoned OOFers could help you get it on it's feet again.Worth a try. :y :y :y

AFAIK it is a pretty big job this, and also expensive.....
Still as others have said, update your details and you never know what tractor Gurus may be round the corner from you.

just what i was going to type!!!!

pump seems to be leaking from the top near where the black box is.....i was told by a bosch agent that you can buy a seal kit for about 25quid but unless you lock the pump in place?? Before taking it off it looses all the settings and has to be recalibrated at a cost of £300...p.s im near barnsley

is that a job for tech2 or bosch? No idea on tractors. Couple of t2s on here but they are nots and brakley way. Is that the only prob. with the car? If so i would exhaust all options on here before scraping. There are some very experienced clever people, they will be along im sure. Good luck.

You on about the cover plate held on with 3 bolts, and a security screw? I'd carefully remove and use a liquid gasket (or proper seal kit)
