He certainly looked very corporate when he walked down the steps. Hoped that he would have worn his stage gear. 8)

Guess I won't be seeing this ED force One at Lasham, unless we build more tarmac. ;D

I wonder if it'll be a generously appointed as N7201U? http://www.led-zeppelin.org/the-starship-and-caesars-chariot (http://www.led-zeppelin.org/the-starship-and-caesars-chariot)
Unlike John Bonham, at least Bruce has gone to the trouble of getting a pilot's licence. ;D

Ouch. That looks expensive. :o

Not uncommon... the towbar has a shear pin in it, and they snap without warning... usually when towing an aircraft from one point to another, as it reverses the usual pushback forces. Eventually fatigue takes over et voila...
However, one question which seems to have slipped by unnoticed... where was the brakeman, who should have been on the flight deck for the tow, when this happened? His sole purpose, a simple yet critical task, is to apply the aircraft brakes should the pin snap ::)
Clearly the two people in the tug were either asleep or drunk to fail to notice neither a 150+ tonne aircraft not follow them into a left turn, nor the sudden torque surge resulting from said aircraft no longer holding them back.
Someone will be paying dearly for that :D

Perhaps they were only insured TPFT?

He`s had his pilots licence a few years IIRC, he was one of the pilots doing the DC3 pleasure flights from Leeds & Bradford airport.
