Title: Now its the landline

Email arrived.

Dear Mr TB,
yada yada research has shown you wanted us to simplify call costs yada yada.

So now, rather than 1ppm in the evenings, its 4ppm.

Yeah, right.  Time to reprogram the phones to use another provider for outgoing calls.


What is it with Telcos trying to butt rape me today  >:(

Me too. I can't remember the last time I used the landline, though.

My land line costs, are all line rental, etc, very rarely use landline as have unlimited on mobiles'  and if it's a 087 number then quick look on say no to 0870, for an 01 number :y

Only use landline for Mum and Dad also SIL. They don,t do modern technology, at their age I don,t blame them. ;D

I swapped to Southern Electric for my landline...yes an energy company doing phone lines..  ::)

They did a deal a while ago...but its ended now...

2 years £12/month for line rental and free broadband.....unlimited download or it might be 40GB per month....carnt remember now....but I don't go anywhere near the limit.....

I'll swap again when that deal runs out  :y

Oh and I don't use the line for calls, except 0800, use my mobile for all other calls....01/02/03 come out of inclusive minutes, any other number I need to call, as said previously, I use saynoto0870.com for finding an alternative number  :y
