Post by: BazaJT on 05 March 2016, 19:13:00
Leaving Morrisons this afternoon and passing a BK outlet opposite I saw a Dodge Challenger SRT queuing for the drive through. On a L prefix plate in black with 395 Hemi badging on the front wings it looked superb, and with that V8 burble/growl as it sat ticking over/inched forward it sounded superb too :y Me likeee a lot :y

They do sound good don't they.  :y

Many moons ago, when I had my SD1 TP Vitesse, a hole blew in the middle box the day before we were due to go on holiday. As money was tight back then, I cut out the middle box and sleeved it with oversize pipe welded on as a temporary measure until we got paid. It sounded so good that I left it like it until it eventually failed the MOT on excessive steering rack play.  :y

Something about a large capacity V8. :y

I saw a TVR Griffith 500 recently and it sounded orgasmic. :-* :-*

I was behind a silver SD1 Vitesse coming onto the M57 the other day, he gave it full beans up the slip road and the sound was epic

V8's are addictive !! Mine sounds terrific when I kickdown at 60 mph.
