Title: Is fuel edging up in price in the UK?
Post by: Varche on 11 March 2016, 14:42:47
I have noticed it creeping up in Spain. Diesel got as low as 87 cents a litre but at beginning of month it was 95 cents now it is 98.

Is it still 99p at the supermarkets in the UK? That seemed to me a psychological price rather than one based on market forces.

I chucked in £30 at Sainsbury's today .... 97.9p/l  :y But that was Diesel  ;)

But I have noticed Esso/Shell/etc are upping their prices.....its only the supermarkets at the moment that are holding the low prices...but for how long  :-\

Everything is going up. Car insurance (all insurance) dental charges (5% each year for the next two years), fuel, the price of cheese.............we're screwed.

If you think that is bad, just imagine if the price of everything went down.

Wifey has been promised a pay rise of 1% for the next four years, I think everything going down might suit us.

It's still hanging on at 99.8p unleaded or 97.8 diesel round here, but I imagine it'll rise soon as I believe price of oil per barrel is on the up.
