For the non chavs, if you google bulbs in the same colour temperature as your dip beams, they'll blend in a lot better. And you won't have to purchase a baseball cap.

An impossibility, surely, seeing as anything LED looks shite?

due to the lack of access, I fitted led side lights somethiing like these (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/6x-Super-White-T10-501-LED-8smd-Interior-Side-Number-Plate-Wedge-Light-Bulb-W5W-/331788414565?hash=item4d40216e65:g:yO4AAOSwwpdW1nEA) to my Smart, in the hope they'll last a while longer than normal bulbs.

So far ..... so good

Put these in mine last year around May, Made a huge difference Link (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Osram-LED-4000K-Warm-White-W5W-501-Wedge-12V-1W-Led-Bulbs-Long-Life-2850WW-02B-/191809090258?hash=item2ca8b672d2:g:fIEAAOSwB4NWuyij) ...They are what i'd describe as having a mild tint of yellow but much more white in colour with no blue tint plus much more light from them. Tad expensive maybe but I'm happy with them.

Any problems with the check light at all? I know some LEDs tend to trip it/

None with the side lights.. I did however get a message on the display with LED brake light and indicator bulbs.. Some led bulbs come with canbus resistors. The Philips rear indicator bulbs I bought came with some which cleared the error message. Didn't bother with the brake lights couldn't get them to work with or without a resistor but their decent enough as it is so left them as is.

Indicators are not managed by Check Control  ???

Sorry yes, But they where blinking too fast without the resistor which they now blink at a normal rate.

These are the ones I have on the rear, everything you need is included with them. Expensive I know. Link (https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/262261952661)

Thanks. Sadly the world is full of LED bulbs, but the vast majority are giving the minority a bad name. Mostly chinese tat which shows up canbus errors etc..

And, yes, that is expensive!  :o I just bought two rear bulb holders with free bulbs, so maybe after they've blown  :D
