recently replaced lower hose from matrix to that electric motor looking thing on inner off Side guard with new Vx part. Problem. Stinks of Anti freeze when fan kicks in. Absolutely no leaks I can see anywhere. Driving me nuts, no smell in car with heater on, yet park up stand outside and enjoy the aroma :'(. Neighbour says its when I changed hose and coolant got onto different surfaces, takes time to burn off. No muck on dipstick or oil in expansion. What I'm I missing Chaps ???

When the seals leak on the coolant bridge you get a wiff of coolant , you wont see any leakage as the leak will be fine enough to burn off in between the V . Least thats what i experienced . New seals and all good . Strip the gubbins out from the V and pressure test the coolant system first though .

Cheers for that E.M.D :y. Gonna have to get one you guys to have a look. If it's turns out more serious than that. As hard as it is to even say it. Cut my loses and move on :'(
