How is a £2.08 oil filter a bargain? Especially if you have to buy 12 years worth in one go?

Given I change oil about twice a year now on average, I don't think my 2.2 will last that long  :(

Why is the same item being promoted in two threads ?? neither of which is in the sales section ??  most peculiar IMHO

http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=135270.0

unless there is an undisclosed interest on behalf of the OP ???

That's poor value. For under 25, you can normally get a box of 24, although only much use if you have other cars that take it as well.

Little bro and I used to by a box for £15 from the dealer, keep half a dozen each, and shove the rest on egay for £3-£4 each (as ebay buyers are ridiculously stupid).  Sahme with a lot of stuff that the dealers would sell bulk at way less than TC prices.

Ok i made a mistake posting in the wrong section so corrected it when i realised, even so some  of the posts are a bit ott, and any one who knows me will know that conflict was not what the post was about, and NO i dont have any intrest in the seller.
Recently i was charged £4-60 for gen filter by a dealership in london and as i needed it urgently i was caught by the gonads, and at just over 2 quid a pop i thought that some of you lot might be intrested, clearly i was mistaken.
Wont happen again.
Gary.

Nothing wrong with posting up potential bargains Gary, I do it from time to time, I work on the principle 'if it just helps one member out' etc. etc. ;)

Just expect to get some flack, if others think otherwise.  ;D

Apologies if my post(s) caused offence, not my intention.

I personally like to see such posts - either it will be a bargain, or somebody will post up better options etc - so please keep posting them up :y
