Hey guys
I'm very soon going to have all the studs replaced as I have 2 sheared studs by the thermostat housing, my question is what is better to use a copper flashed steel nut or an aerotight nuts also stainless
Cheers

Stainless studs, copper nuts

Ok that was simple, any particular style normal nut or a shouldered one or a BMW MINI turbo self lubing nut http://www.pelicanparts.com/More_Info/11657559557.htm?pn=11-65-7-559-557-M26

Get the GM ones

I have found a kit from Germany, 2 gaskets 14 studs 10 nuts and a manifold for 80 odd pound
That way I can get the new manifold ground flat to hopefully cure the studs shearing

For a 2.0ltr as the 2.2`s are different

X20xev same for the vectra b and frontera. Also has the SAI holes so is a straight swap

I bought 16 M8x40(which seems to be a standard size) studs and copper nuts plus similar M10 nuts for the downpipes, for my V6 which cost less than a fiver.

This includes a new manifold and gaskets hence the price, if there weren't any flaw with the casting I wouldn't have bothered
