Title: asda,s specs
Post by: raywilb on 04 May 2016, 09:44:37
I went to asda for eye test & their £40 pair of glasses. they lasted less than two days & and a hinge snapped. when I took them back they did a temporary fix and ordered me a new pair which I had to pay for & when they are ready asda will then send the first pair off to be repaired. in asda the opticians dept have a bin to donate old glasses to charity, so I did. still £80 for two pair of varifocals is not bad

You may or may not need glasses. Try the OOF eyesight test.  :y

That's a good deal, I think, for varifocals. I'll give them a try in the next few weeks, as I suspect I need varifocals  :-\  :y

ASDA = poor quality lenses, and the frames aren`t much better. Bought some prescription glasses (distance) for the missus with a heavy tint and a robust frame with spring hinges for £27 including postage charges from "Glasses Direct". Arrived and missus was well pleased with the quality
