Title: Battery change

The old battery has had its day I got a nice new 096 yuasa 5000 from autosessive for £70 delivered now my question is do I need to do anything in prep I have the car pass will I need to reprogram anything other than the radio unit it is a late 02 3.2 elite. thanks

You have 15 secs from turning the ignition off to disconnecting the battery otherwise the alarm sounds. Best to slacken the battery negative in readiness, turn the ignition off & then remove the neg/earth lead.

Windows ..... press & hold each switch in the up posn till you hear a click

Roof ..... if applic ..... turn roof switch to each major position, push & hold till all movement stops

If all else fails Please read the manual ..... it is in there  ;) ;) ;)

If you have a booster or a spare batt and jump leads, you can change the batt without worrying about the alarm and loosing codes

Thats exactly what I do  :y

Have in the past successfully used junp leads off new battery!

done the battery with the jump lead method and worked well thanks guys  :y
