Not read this but with most phones having fingerprint unlocking + a password as a backup if for some reason the fingerprint unlock doesn't work presumably. Why not just force them to use their fingerprint? Presuming these people who have things to hide don't use the fingerprint unlock feature then, favouring the good old password.

If we hadn't destroyed all that computer technology at Bletchley Park and sworn all the Code Breakers to secrecy after the War we probably would still be the Worlds leading Code Breakers.

Love or loathe him the documentary Clarkson did on Bletchley was brilliant.

I suspect we're a lot better at codebreaking than we, the general populous know. Same as in the War, actually. It does very well for a country to be regarded as a lot more stupid than it in fact is.  :)

Just lop the correct finger off (in fact may as well take all of them + the thumbs just to be sure) and swipe away....

Ask anyone ex RAF or Royal Navy and they'll tell you how often the US got embarrassed by us and this piddly little island in the annual War Games. The only thing they do so often, is underestimate their enemy.

So the terrorists phone, had a fingerprint unlock on it, and the Americans couldn't work out how to unlock the phone so threatened crapple, and other tech company's saying it was a matter of national security, in being able to retrieve the contents of said phone,,
So what clever Dicky pointed out to Homelamd security what to do. ;D or had he lost his handies :-X
