.....car insurance for another year.
A little steep for a 'humble' family saloon. They (Saga) wouldn't budge on price but did throw in legal cover for the year, supposedly worth £28.
Reasonably pleased.

Some advantages to being an old git then?
Cheap insurance . ;D
The only other one I can think of is you are good at quizzes.

You won't get a laptop for that and the insuance will last for a whole year. :D ;D

Is there something in the small print that the price is dependant upon never driving the car or something ?
That is VERY cheap ;)

Cracked 50 this year and the insurance is due next month so i'll give them a ring but tbh, I only paid 260 quid this year anyway :-\

Give them a bell, Mr Gonads.
£260 P/A is quite reasonable for Hull, where most things are on fire. ::) ::) ;)

Not far off what I pay, with business use and no mileage limits. I'm way more than 50 ???

My renewal came in at £256 this year. ::) So I've done the cashback and comparison thing this afternoon and then phoned my current insurers and invited them to beat the cheapest quote, which they did by £5! :)
End result? ??? £224.49 and it's a better policy than the cheapest I found elsewhere! ;) :y
Now I've got to do the house insurance which has gone up considerably! ::) Bastids! >:(

Mine is under £200, for 20k miles (I think) and business. Do they pay me when I hit 50?

I reckon mine should be sub £200 down here in sleepy Darzet, but I guess the 3 points on my licence and a windscreen claim have bumped it up. ::)

£380 for me. Including business use. Then again I'm a young whipper-snapper at 32. :y
