Hi all.
In need of repairing a rusty (could be surface rust) sill on my 52plate estate. I can see plastic pop rivets underneath, is that all that holds it on? I've sussed out how to remove the rubber strip. But can't find anywhere indepth on side skirt removal. Does anyone have a breakdown on how to do it.
Also.............
Is anybody local to Peterborough who can recommend a decent bodyshop if the job is to big for me?
Many thanks

Sill cover?
Remove sill cover back cover (at the rear wheel end) -> push-type clips.
Undo screws at the bottom of the sill cover (there are 4 IIRC running along the bottom).
There is one more screw at the front end of the sill.
Push and tug carefully the sill -> it is mounted on push-on mounts.
Take your time -> this mounts are plastics, and can break if over-forced.
It's really not hard job, jst don't rush.

One torx screw under front end.
Steering on full lock.
Bottom edge held by plastic push clips, 4/5...
Knock the cover forward two inches and it should fall off...
Everything will then become obvious :y
