Post by: Field Marshal Dr. Opti on 06 June 2016, 15:00:45
My Direct debit has risen from £44.18 to £45.09 each month.

Have I missed something? :-\

Should have sent you a mandate...  first payment is often slightly different to the remainder, which should all be the same ;)

The last 8 or 9 have been at the lower rate.

As said the other day, my R Class was 'only' £485 last year, but was £500 this year. Wonderfully, all our/my vehicles are retaxed in May  ??? ??? £185 for her C3, £110 for the Smart Roadster and just £30 for the Smart Fortwo ............ and piad my daughter's for her a few months ago because I'm a wonderful Dad  ;D ;D

Whenever there is a budget 5 to 10 quid always seems to go on road tax with no mention of it. Think my Merc is around £21 per month at present the 4x4 is £23 I believe, just wish they would improve some of the roads with all the cash we pay out.

That's why you drive a Phlegm Green Astra then.  :P

I'd be very reluctant even if it did 150mpg  ::) ::)

Renault are recognised as one of the best mass market producers these days. Much more reliable and less expensive to fix than the so called 'premium' marques. But I quite like it when people take the piss. The Astra has done nearly 20,000 miles since I bought it and has required nought but fuel, so I can't help feeling a bit smug.
