Title: b and q are selling up to the yanks

no more revamps after this one im on. going to be a lot of contractors out of work, i think theres about 15 going on at a time, and probably about 80 contractors on each site doing both shifts. also if they make there own staff redundant as well. there cutting back on everything, suppliers will feel it also.  :(

Not suprised.

My dad has worked there as a 'welcomer' for a few years, last week they announced no more welcomers, go on the tills or leave!

He left.

Was on the pension scheme as well so still gets 20% off  :D

people ive worked with all round the country from doing my job are struggling real bad to find work. its getting worse out there.

I don't think it's going to get better any time soon either -- even with a change of government.  :-/

i have been applying for quiet a few jobs lately,all of which pay less than half of what i was earning 3 months ago. i havent even had a single reply ,so far. :(
