Didn't they put something like 6 tons of ballast inside it?

They may well have done Andy,V10 has air ride so ride height would appear normal

They added 4.3 tonnes to the 2.5 tonne kerbweight,mind you the 747 is 155 tonnes :o

I'd be more impressed if they made cars that worked as they should  ;D. After all I suspect that that would have more practical applications ;).

they're making them in Brazil soon! Is this going be be a repeat of when Merc started making their cars in the US...? and they were, of course, dire.

so they boast a 2.5 ton towing capacity but seem to forget that the defender would pull 3.5 ton

wait until all production goes overseas....

Thats more so they can sell them in Brasil (and south America), Brasil has certain key tax breaks and requirements relating to local content (and its a chuffing nightmare!) plus big import duties.

I'm guessing a bloke on a bicycle could pull that train given suitably low gearing, so not very convinced. How well did it stop, I wonder? ;D

Yeah. Have you seen that fella on the telly pulling a truck, loaded with a smaller truck, loaded with a van carrying a bike...on roller skates?  ;D
