Hi all. I had my air-conditioning recharged about four weeks ago, it has suddenly stopped working. Took it back to the garage and they said there is still gas in it. Does anyone have any knowledge of where I should be looking? Fuses, relays, switches etc...

Is the clutch on the compressor engaging ?
-
N,o the clutch is not engaging.

Probably garage lifting your leg about being gassed up. ::)
If gas is low the clutch will not engage to protect the system from running on a low charge.
Suggest you either take it back to garage and get them to remove what is in the system and do a full pressure test then fill with the correct volume of gas and oil....or better advise is to take it to a different place who know what they are doing :y

Cheers fella, think I will try them once again.

Clutch will only engage if adequate gas in system so until thats checked you cant be sure of what the fault may be.
First step needs to be a qualified AC Engineer do a full vac of the existing system to check for leaks and enusring the system is holding a good sound vacuum.Only then should gas/oil be added to the correct volume then with good luck all will be ok . :y
