today i was doing 35 in 40 zone .another car overtake me
when i was passing gatso line
and camera flash he or she was doing 43 or 45 that s what i feel .
i hope they can read my speed in the photo
what gona happen? iam in the pic ?
-
The camera actually takes at least two pics and the speed calculated by reference to your position shown by those little dashes painted on the road. So from the difference between the twp photos the data analysts can tell that the other car was the "target" (hopefully)
-
if you get notification within 14 days accusing you of the offence, request a copy of the photo, then return it with a letter stating how obvious it was the overtaking car
-
They are designed for that, dont worry
-
im glad

Jimbob - how do you do that?
I bought my Tomtom in January, and it is aware of some roadworks which had speed cameras on the M4 - long since gone, but it still 'reminds' me about them. I've tried updating on the TomTom web site but no joy.
-
It should update when you plug the TomTom into your PC and go to the TomTom website, I do mine every couple of weeks.
-
maybe the TT database itself wasn't updated. I'll try again. Do you ever back yours up?

That's only if you have subscribed to the updates, isn't it ?? Or is there a free update period ?

There are other sites that offer them.
May I suggest registering and browsing www.ipmart-forum.com
