Title: Fuel pipes
Post by: Stargazer57N on 10 July 2016, 14:26:40
Hi guys, Does anyone know where I can get some fuel pipes from? I'm guessing it might be a case of going to Vauxhall but thought I would try the knowledge base that is OOF first.  I need the metal pipes that run above the diff and connet to the plastic pipes coming from the tank and connect to the pipes under the floor pan. Thanks in advance.  2.2 Tdi estate 2003 model.

I got a new feed and return line from Vauxhall. The return lines are fine but it was found that the feed pipes have been bent backwards and don't fit the car at all. Don't know if they ever fixed it or not luckily I found a second hand one.

Hell! at that price that'll be last resort. Managed to stop the leak with a piece of fuel hose and a couple of jubilee clipped for now, Think I'll be replacing them for rubber hose very soon, well when I manage to empty the tank. Always happens when you've just topped up the tank doesn't it!

I've been looking for 2nd hand ones on line but can't find any at the moment.  Need to get it done asap as I'm heading down south at the end of the month.

Local fuel injection specialists have just done me three 11 foot fuel pipes, bent to shape and with fittings, for £120 or thereabouts. Ask your local motor factors who they go to  :y
