Hi,
As per title, I require an ABS ECU for a Mini-facelift 1999 2.5 V6 Automatic. It is Bosch part number 0273004206
Thanks in advance

If it helps, all you need is the same sort of car, so MFL, or FL, doesn't matter, saloon or estate, doesn't matter. So long as it's a 2.5 V6 and an auto (and MFL onwards, not PFL), it will be a direct fit. You can compare the two-letter code to be super-sure.

Great, thanks for the info. Mine is currently with BBA Reman, I am expecting it back on Monday so can check other codes then. They couldn't repair mine as they said it wasn't "communicating"

I saw the thread, yes... sad indeed. I'm looking for a spare myself (but far scarcer, as mines a 'full' PFL, not a MFL like yours, thanks to the different Traction Control system)

Good luck with that. I am hoping to get one soon as I am going to Ireland at the end of the month.....would rather it was fixed for then!

See if minifreeks is any use.... http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=136736.0;topicseen :y

But they don't communicate when the standard fault arises .......as its some of the power supply bond wires that come adrift.

That's what I thought but they told me it wasn't fixable and tried to sell me a new one for £400

I have been offered one from a facelift X30xe auto with the same Bosch part number. Is this likely to be okay?

Ident code is the determining factor ;)
