Title: Tyres?Who needs them?

On my way home tonight a bloke about mid 20's was cycling merrily along the road[unusual in itself round here as they normally hog the pavement]with the bike making noises that a bike shouldn't.As he got closer I saw the reason...there were no tyres on the bike at all,he was riding along on the rims :D :D :D

Are they THAT tight up there? I suppose it IS near Scotchland!

It's not so much being tight as being paupers[ask Dr.Opti]unlike you super rich southern lot ;D and we're not even close to scotchland :P
