Had a new boiler installed in 2014 (Worcester greenstar classic) noticed yesterday that the water was not heating properly so rang them explaining the fault, engineer called this morning & fitted a new heat exchanger all good now.Excellent service & still under warranty for 3 years.

Any idea what was wrong with the old heat exchanger? Wasn't lime scaled up was it?
-
Not scaled at all just failed, the engineer said it was unusual but just one of those unexplainable occurrences.

It's always good to hear when people/companies deliver a good service.Instead of just hearing when things turn bad.

Had a Bosch tumble dryer a few years ago, What a heap of shite. >:(. Kept blowing thermal overloads, service guy said it was very unusual for this to happen. Friday afternoon one i reckon ;D. In the end just dumped it.

Designed to fail. My parent's boiler is 20+ years old. Never serviced. Never fails. This modern shit is an eco disaster.
Glad they didn't dick you around on fixing it, but even so. It's their fault it failed so I should hope so.
