I have a bag of rocking horse manure mixed with many hens teeth, but I don't have one of those.

Silly idea and memory is a little cloudy but if you have a couple of spare ones already would it not be possible to get these 3D printed

Not a bad idea and could be a nice little earner :-\

More likely to get one that way than finding one...

We've mentioned this before, but gone no further with it. I do wonder about it being an earner, as how many would actually be needed? Would a dozen be a reasonable number.

The first thing to do is to model an original piece in one of the 3d programmes such as Geomagic, or Fusion360(which is free, and should output a suitable file for the printer although I haven't tried it yet). This will determine if 3d printing is suitable, and what changes are required to print a prototype.

Here's a very rough model of the 'ordinary' cover off my car, which tool a few minutes in Fusion:

I bought a printer a year ago, and still haven't used it yet. Perhaps it's time?
