Title: 2.5TD Code 44 - Incorrect boost pressure - Intermittent fault
Post by: SR-71Blackbird on 29 August 2016, 22:21:35
Hi all,

OK after learning how to do the paperclip test I am closer to finding out what is going on with my jumping rev counter that upsets the Auto transmission and puts it into limp mode occasionally.

I got code 44 immediately after this happened most recently. I turned off, restarted and it was fine again so looking for ideas on what to check please.

Is there a sensor or area I should take a look at to see if its loose/dirty etc.

Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Thanks

Alex

From memory, there is a tube from underside of manifold to sensor on suspension turret, made of same stuff as leak of pipes.  Could be porous I guess. Or blocked.
