Hello, I have strange fault code related to intake manifold valves and I have not figured yet what is causing it..
My car is omega mv6 (x30xe) 1994.
My op com shows this
Error code 133: air intake manifold valve 2 voltage too low
When my car is running it shows air intake manifold valve 2 = active(0v)
And then when engine is off and ignition on active(12v)...
So what to do next?

Did it happen after some work?

Not actually, it just popped up yesterday. My car still works.. but air fuel rate is richer.

Shouldn't affect the fuelling.
Can you swap front and back solenoids over, see if fault moves with solenoid or not...

The fault code still remains after I tried that move method.
I dont think it is supposed to show active(0v) in op com at idle??

The fault code still pointed to Valve 2, even after you swapped the solenoid with the Valve 1 one?
If so, start metering the cable.
Ignore what says op com for now.

Oh sorry. I misunderstand. I'll try that swapping tomorrow.
But how I can test that this part isnt broken.

Does that same part sit on the SAI as well as the intakes? Just in case it does a simple swap round would eliminate it?

I have now swapped valve 2 with valve 1 solenoid and same error still stays and comes back after cleaning errors.. It gives 12v to valve solenoid when ignition or when engine on. Op com says active(0v) for valve 2 when engine on and because of that, it throws that error 133..
Any ideas?

And I have checked with voltmeter, wiring seems to be ok. The wiring for valve 2 solenoid will give 12v and engine on, over 13.8v
-
Which one is valve 2? front of engine or rear of plenum?
-
Firstly, ignore op com. Its shit.
Did the fault stay with valve 2, or move to valve 1?
If it stayed with valve 2, do a resistance chack of wiring between the valve and the ECU (you will need to remove ECU to test the wiring.

Well I did change solenoid valve 1 to 2. It still stayed error for valve 2. I also tested wirings resistance between ecu and valve. Pin 31 and 46. Both checked and seemed to be ok.
Anyway when I switch to ignition, it gives about 6-8v to valve's plug for about one sec with voltmeter, then it goes back to 0v..
Shouldn't it be 12v all the time?

Today I found that pin 31, ground pulse (from ecu) doesnt give any pulses. I tested it with voltmeter, by putting its - to brown/black wire and + to the battery's +. No voltage changes between 1000rpm to 6k.
Why is not ecu sending ground pulses from pin 31... Is my ecu faulthy?
