Title: Another great forum, wanted to say hello!

Evening all,

Been a Vauxhall fan since my first nova. Had several gte and sr nova's followed by a cavalier.Then a Mk2 Astra GTE which I still own. I dabbled with a monaro vxr 6.0 for a while, however sold her to fund a home. The GTE is now stored and my daily commute is a 2.0T Signum.

I have just seen an omega 2.2Dti round the corner from me which has 111k on the clock and fsh for £250. I need a decent barge for DIY and my slow B-road commutes. I love tinkering and fettling with cars, it's my hobby. Just a little heads with what I need to look out for or any other tips would be greatly appreciated !

Take it for a run. If it seems ok, have it, you can only lose £250.

Hello and welcome  :) There's some good info and community spirit on here, as well as the usual nutters...... so don't be put off.

As he said - take it for a spin and see if you like it. With most things in life, it's a lottery. Personally I wouldn't touch a dieseasel, or an auto but many would.  :y

Thanks, I'm not a fan of the Devils fuel either, but worth a punt.
