Title: Love it or hate it (2)
Post by: Mr Skrunts on 26 July 2008, 22:50:43
http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1217105348/all  this thread got me thinking.

Dont like Champagne, prefer  White Sparkling Sweet wine.

Dont Like Brandy/Whiskey . Prefer Bicardi/Pernod

Cant Stand Caviar, would rather have Pat'e.

Hate Ketchup (gives me heartburn), adore Mayonaise.

Branston or Ploghmans, one gives me heart burn, but cant remember.

Detest desicated coconut, but like the real stuff (ish)

Rice pudding make me sick, love custard pies.

Tripe, never tried it, but the thought of makes me puke.

Steak, love it, Porterhouse is top of the list for me.

Love Haggis and Black pudding.  [size=12]

[size=14]   :D :y Favourite meal of all times.  :y :D

Cod, Chips and mushy peas with a dollop of parsley sauce.  (Fish and Chips must be cooked in beef dripping.)

Not too keen on Whisky myself......................... ;D ;D ;D

Favourite meal, I enjoy a good old fry up, bacon, eggs, tom's mushrooms, black pudding fried bread etc. Not had this as a breakfast for many years but sometimes for tea :y :y :y
I found a new black pudding, cant remember what it was called, but really really nice, bought it in Yorkshire, if that gives any clues, lighter in colour but nicer taste.

Rag puddings are very nice too, if you can find a chippy that does them. Only one I can think of is Sykes's in Swinton. Similar to a steak pudd but made in a roll and steamed in the plastic bag (originally a tea towel hence the name).
