I might buy some of the lights...

...and then hurl them at all the bellends I see riding around with no lights (at all, best accompanied by black clothing of course) at 5.30am.

Buy some car headlight bulbs while you're at it.  T'is the season everyone's headlights blow and the tinkers don't realise to check but rather drive around on full beam.  At least on full beam you don't notice that they aren't using their indicators......

In Northampton they take the same approach that 90% (no, really, it is that high) of cyclists do (at 5am they also seem to be mostly half-cut having just finished a night shift and a few cans of Stella) - just dispense with the lights entirely :o

Of course if we had any police on the roads...

Funny enough, i just written to my local PCC ahead of a meeting with him next month.  Clamping down on motorists and cyclists was the key point  :y

Can you get him to clamp down on people abandoning damaged Omegas all over the place too? Makes the place look untidy.  ;)
