Take it you don't have the car pass card then ? Code will be on there
If not VX dealer . .. but will cost somewhere in region of £25 - £50 & proof of ownership/identity etc.
I got a code for a Ford CD/radio from flea bay for 99p surprisingly worked great ::)
Just had to give serial number on the unit . . .don't know if codes from there are available for VX head units :-\ :-\ :-\ . . .worth a look

I dont think you can get the Code from the s/n on the 2006's, :-\
The a Member on here DaveDND that runs a AutoAudio and Car Decode Service. He'll probably steering in the right direction.

Try looking in your service book or the manual. People have a habit of writing them on a page ;) :y

Im assuming the op has inputed,and its displaying "safe" but has the code.
Try looking in the the helpful "maintenance guides" section.

Mobile decoders can do them for around £15
