.....is a Volvo V40 D2 whatever that is.
2016, White, five doors, and I think (from the horrible noise it makes) runs on lorry fuel.

Kill it quick!!! :o :D ;D

I may have to tolerate it for two or three days. :-\
It seems to be the sort of car that people buy when they have absolutely no interest in cars, other than getting from A to B.

I'm almost overcome with excitement.
1969 cc. 120 BHP........and the trip computer shows a 'tunnieesque' 58.1 MPG.

It actually has quite a bit of luxury being the SE Lux Nav version.
About £25000. :o :o :o

I quite like the look of that TBH! :y
So is that your courtesy car while the Jag is in for repairs? :-X ;D

It is indeed.
I have a problem with the central locking which hopefully will be covered by the warranty. :y
They dropped the derv drinker off and took my car. I was hoping for a brand new Jag but clearly I'm not important enough. An old XJ220 would have been nice. ::) :y
-
My mate had an XKR which had all sorts of electrical gremlins and it became known as the Saggy Jag! ::) ;D
You might find you like DERV afterall..... :-X Not that you'd admit it to us mind. ::)
-
After a V8 Jag, I doubt he would like D2 Volvo.
Perhaps if they had loaned him a XJ 3.0d, that might have. :)

It drives much the same as every other derv car I have experienced.
Good low and mid range shove followed by nothing. :-\ No top end power. Not a car to savour and enjoy.
It is practical, functional, and economical. It is also without soul. Essentially it is £25000 of 'white goods'.
Worse still.....Sounds like a canal boat. ;)

Instead of taking the piss you should be looking in the exotic sports car section of the Autotrader.
Not a sports car, but a nice Audi RS6 might suit you. :y

Not a sports car, but another nice Daewoo might suit you. :y

Truth be known Steve has not recovered emotionally from selling the Daewoo.
He loved that car. :)

I'm over it...again. I'm destined to stay Mr Ordinary, so I might as well be happy with it. When/if I decide the time has come, I will just do it and tell you lot (and the Mrs) later.

Finally, a car that makes the Signum look pretty ;D

You keeping the Signet then :-\

It's probably wise to keep a spare car when you own a fine piece of engineering like a Jaguar. :)
