Hello Mr EMD,

Can't say for the wishbones (mine were aftermarkety ones, with GM and Powerflex Bushes and GM ball joints, which I'd recommend anyone do) but I am running on ATP track rods and droplinks with no apparent maladies in 2 years, 10k+ and counting. As far as I'm aware ATP are the 'best budget' choice, if you don't want to run to genuine Vx prices.  :)

Quick ebay seach for 'powerflex omega' brings plenty to choose from as here:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.XPowerflex+Omega.TRS0&_nkw=Powerflex+Omega&_sacat=0

Don't bother buying a set that includes the anti-roll bar bushes - beyond pointless, waste of your hard-earned.  :y

Genuine Vx ball joints retail at something horriffic like £50 each - though they are the best & longest-lasting, but they can be found for a lot less if you hunt around. I'll see if I can get you a price if you wish, be about £40 the pair, maybe less. The usual QH and other known makes are of course fine, too.

I was lucky, in that I cannibalised my polys from my previous car, so they were 'free'.

Front bush was direct from Vx Dealer - hope they're still available, but they were a fair bit (but again, the best ones) £36 the pair I paid.

My wishbones are 'no name' ones, which some say do, some say don't use. Two years and no deaths yet  :y The bushes went in with a 10 ton press a mate did for me at work, ball joint and polys went in like a piece of wee-wee.

I made myself Genuine GM 'OEM+' wishbones all-in for about £58 each I think all-in... retail being about £190.  :)

That was going to be my only caveat...

At that price, buy two sets :D
