Surely the cuts can't be biting this deeply. I think there's a huge dose of "not my fu**ing problem" here:

A failure, that was caused no doubt, because of eefing safety, and penny pinching.

We're is our resident traffic hofficer, hasn't been around of late.

The "safety" cameras and/or patrols would have been on the case in seconds if he were merely speeding.....
