Just got this:
http://www.sonicdirect.co.uk/prod/Cylinder-Vacuum-Cleaners/Bosch-BGS5PERFGB-PRO-PERFORM-Bagless-Cylinder-Cleaner---Black
on Amazon for £64.99 post free. :)
A decent saving...unless one of you buggers finds it cheaper.

I hope your wife appreciates all that you do for her. :)

It's the thought that counts..... Tick.
She's not really into diamonds, shoes and handbags anyway..... Tick.
Has a handle for easy hand to hand combat... Erm :-[.. Whoop!Whooop!Whooop! :o

Are you getting excited, Opti? Mine's coming this afternoon.
-

No wonder they didnt sell any :o

It's hard to get excited about a domestic appliance but it does seem good value for money, especially as several retailers are charging £300 plus.
Mrs Opti is less excited about my benevolent act and has started to give me that 'fu*k you look'. It could all turn nasty. ;D

Ungrateful wench. Tell her, if she's not interested in a new vacuum cleaner, her sister might be.

Her sister has more 'suck' than a vac. :)

It's arrived and I've had a quick read of the manual. It's German, therefore it has about five filters in order to maintain ze efficiency of ze product! ;D Motor filter, exhaust filter, hepa filter, dust filter, fluff filter...........and maybe some I've missed.
If you thought your German car was a pain in the arse, wait till you've had this little bastard to bits a thousand times. ;D
I think perhaps a little henry may have been less hassle.
-
Also all of them have gutless motors thanks to the tree huggers that is the EU >:(

I've been moaning like the real grumpy old git that I am about Black Bloody Friday for days, mostly bull**t
My in box is full of BF crap. One from Screwfix annouced a "special" black friday deal on a Bosch voltage detector, at exactly the same price that I paid for one about over a month ago.
However, in January I need to be in London for a few days, and also an overnight stay at Gatwick. 3 nights Travelodge in West London 2 minutes walk to a station with free car parking £98 total. Gatwick Airport Travelodge £20. So maybe NOT all BS then ;)

It does well for a paltry 700w.
We also have a Miele with a a 2000w motor.

I thought Black Friday was Robinson Crusoe's mate? ???

Only in the remake...
Originally Man Friday iirc :D
-
So how come black Friday now lasts at least a week?Is there not a clue in the title as to how long it should last?
-
In the world of marketing, anything goes. ;)

Nope, its all BS. No cheaper than it would have otherwise been. Just like the ECP/DFS type sales, Black Friday is another opportunity for a savvy business to get money from stupid people. Much like the January sales, or these retail outlets like Bicester Village.
-
I had a 'black friday' deal emailed to me from a company I usually buy photo paper from....they were offering a massive 50% off certain paper products.
When I looked at their website it was indeed 50% off certain products I do buy from them.....BUT the offer they usually have running of buy one get one free had magically disappeared ::) ::)
-
Lots of pressies bought for Xmas, daughter sorted it all for us found the bargains & reserved them, I just went in paid & picked them up saves a lot of hassle as well + saved a few quid.

Well' I've been watching exactly same hotela, exactly same dates, exactly same booking terms for some time. I saved over £100. BS or not I'm happy on this one.
BTW, Curry's Massive "Black Event Saving" on a certain TV is exactly the same as the RRP, really not such a big deal. It all boils down to doing a bit of research.
-
Well I was looking at buying a colour laser printer a few weeks ago and as per usual didn't bother with the purchase.
Ebuyer have knocked a tenner of it on a black Friday deal. nothing fantastic, but also got 500 sheets of paper for free, so lets see what it's like. :y
-
Definitely need to do your research before purchasing anything whether it's on offer or not.
I Did get something on Friday that seems to be a decent deal plus i needed one. Crucial MX300 750GB SSD for £105.
